I wanted to do a quick episode to inform you on an injustice that is taking place here in Atlanta, in John Lewis' historic district. This is the district Sonya and I live in. I cannot see the ugliness of what is happening here without saying something. All of it is a bit confusing, so I invited Maya Dillard Smith, a Civil Lawyer and the Former Director of the Georgia ACLU, to help clarify in the clearest most concise manner. She and I and several others are working together to bring awareness to this issue and call for an election to honor our democracy and the late John Lewis. You can see more of what we have done in creating the John Lewis Coalition for Democracy (@_JLCD_) and our press conference from Friday 7/24/20, as well as some media coverage, by checking out my twitter page @LaceyDelayne.
